If you have an account on this site, you should have received the announcement email about this Lambo Lottery. You can buy the ticket for 25k satoshi or get ticket by wagering. Every 0.005btc wager = 1 ticket for the lambo lottery. Yes it is still affordable price, at least we can try our luck with few bucks although the chance to win will be very small but who knows? A single ticket may give us a lambo if we are lucky.
Well, requirements to get Golden tickets is very simple, I expected something more complicated. And yeah, Golden ticket is really affordable. If monthly wagering contest is for big whales, there even small players with few tickets have chance to win. I just missing one thing - duration of Lambo lottery. How long it will be - one month or just one week? I don't see these details in email that I received.

Checked email nothing about Golden tickets in them.

Got the email too, well probably is only a question of time (it take hours to send millions of emails), it seems for everyone I think I have only 0.02 BTC on their count so is not only for ELITE players.

It makes sense they would want the offer to apply to everyone, that is the nature of every successful business.  Many people think capitalism is about elitism but I think its really about the opposite and finding a way to apply the best business idea to the most people without incurring excessive costs ie. efficiency
Thats why I despair when BTC fees start to float up too much, its not going to work out well imo

You do realise that driving heavily "turbo'ed" engines with huge cc on short distances, prevent them from achieving proper working temperatures? This breaks engines dude  Undecided  Cars like that are meant to be respected otherwise they will kill you. If not physically, than financially. Good thing you are preferring Elon's toy though.
Not every lambo is heavily turbo'd though but electric would always beat a cold engine anyhow for city driving.   Taking a lambo or any nice car out for just a short journey is kinda sacrilegious I agree.    However the non racing use, luxury car dynamic is what pays for research for such things to exist in the first place.  So its a standing challenge to every car maker, even Lamborghini to find a way accommodate city use, thats just the unavoidable reality of ownership for many.   Rat race driving is a modern curse tbh, bring on the milk floats :p

After rereading my post above I realized that I described something that can happen only in a parallel universe. The max profit on bet on freebitco.in is 20 BTC, so you can't actually win 160 BTC in one bet.

But now I'm wondering is there a limitation on max bet amount, or is it theoretically possible to bet 2,000 BTC with 94.06% win chance and win 20 BTC, taking the 1st place in the wagering contest in the meantime?

Yes, you can bet 2,000 BTC at 1.01x if you have the balls to do it!

Everyone who hasn't opted out of promotional emails on their profile page should get them. We can't send them all together because the email services start bouncing them as spam if you do that.

In order to bet 2000 BTC you first gotta have it and belive if anyone would own that much bitcoin he wouldn't be wasting his precious time gambling on freebitco.in since he could buy the whole website including all the prizes they have for contests.

I don't think that the owner of the site would sell his/her legacy. Freebitco.in is one the pioneer here and no amount of money can equal to that.

Just saw the email in my inbox with the golden ticket details. Makes me wish I had saved all my deposits this year for this event. I would have had over 100 tickets already by now at least, damn! Not that it'd matter when the whales come to play I guess;)

Good luck everyone, 3 more weeks to get some deposits in to start for the prize;)

Why not? Don't you remember the one who lost thousands of btc in single bet with 97% winning chance long time ago (not in freebitco.io)? Gambler is gambler, even if they are rich to have thousands BTC but if his main intention is to gamble then he will gamble his money instead of using it to buy something else or even to build his own casino.

I just did it with an amount I could afford to lose, just for the fun of it:

but no way I would do that with any significant(for me) amount. It's good I won btw, because losing 10k sats in one second is not what I actually want. I can play 3 hours in a poker tournament with 10k sats buyt-in where I can potentially win 0.002 BTC.

But, as @panjul07 has pointed out, it's not like no one can do that. Especially starting from the 1st of May, when you can get a lot of Golden Tickets while wagering big amounts. The more tickets, the higher the chances of driving a Lambo home. Smiley

I just got the email about the golden ticket,

What will be your strategy in getting more tickets for the raffle?

I was thinking of betting 0.00500000 BTC at 1.01 with 94.06% chances of winning and collect as many tickets as a i could until i bust it out, Instead of buying each ticket for 0.00025000 BTC each.

The only thing worries me, Is i still have a 6% chance of losing my 0.005 BTC after only 1 BET that i could use to buy 20 Golden Tickets instead.

My advice is to do the normal things on the website, if you want to try to win the Lambo you will probably lose a lot of money.

The chance of winning it for a normal user will be probably around 0.001% - 0.0001% so if you increase your playstyle to get more chances you will probably only lose more money.

I don't think we can compete with who can lose https://bitcointalk.to/index.php?topic=320959.msg50445830#msg50445830 only 30 BTC for a "normal contest of 30k $".

Let's be honest you guys wouldn't be poor all of a sudden if nobody ever played any dice at all. You used to be one of the biggest advertisement places in the crypto world, even if nobody ever played lottery or dice ever again you could just publish couple of advertisement slots and put them on sale and still make a ton of money.

Not maybe equal to dice income you guys have (if you did why would you remove the ads) but its still not "end of the world" situation for you guys, its a worse than this type deal for you but not "we gonna have to shut it down" type deal neither.

I remember at one point you were charging like 1 bitcoin per week for the top banner and I was thinking how the hell did you guys get so many users but than I remembered your name is literally "free bitcoin" so it must have been easy in SEO perspective (not that I am expert on that).

Why such a big transaction fee for freebitco.in.
Transaction fee 0,00006000 BTC *
However * The auto-withdraw fee used will be the current slow withdraw fee at the time when payments are being made but will be limited to a maximum of 3,000 satoshi (0.00003000 BTC)

With the increase of bitcoin price in the last days, the fees are also higher because the number of transactions is increasing every day. In order to make sure you don't have to wait hours or even days for your transaction to get confirmed most of the websites require you to pay a higher fee than before and I think 6000 satoshi is quite a decent amount considering the recommended fee right now would be around 20-30k satoshis. Those fees are being used for transactions and are not being taken and kept by them so its only in your advantage when they adjust the fees to the normal level.

It might have been 1 BTC when that only cost $150 to buy it. The online advertising market has changed and many sites (like news providers) are turning to paywalls. Most of the adverts we ended up with were for ponzi schemes and the like, we just don't want to be associated with that and the revenues were so small they were insignificant.

Yep, it is all about supply and demand and fees started going up before the spike in BTCUSD. We batch our transactions together and pass on the saving to you so you couldn't get a transaction confirmed in the next block from your own wallet without paying much more.

However, it won't last for too long. Let's look back at what happened in 2017, when bitcoin hit its all time high range, the fees were so high, and network congested. Together, people hurried up with their transactions, and forced the fees climbed higher and higher day by day.
Then, everything come back to normal, the fees come back to low levels.
So, my recommendation for you if you don't hurry or have specific instant plans for your money, just wait for weeks or months before moving your bitcoin. Especially if you have plans to move small amount of BTC

Got the email too, well probably is only a question of time (it take hours to send millions of emails), it seems for everyone I think I have only 0.02 BTC on their count so is not only for ELITE players.

Everyone who hasn't opted out of promotional emails on their profile page should get them. We can't send them all together because the email services start bouncing them as spam if you do that.
NEWSFLASH!  Don't believe anything Hero Member "TheQuin" states.  Many facts including letters from the Government in which Freebitcoin claims to operate from will soon be posted.  It was his Government authorities that told us to demand refunds of funds that were lost due to malfuctions where he made the threat of the Police to me for Blackmail.  Once I provided him proof we were truly in contact with Govenment authorities he blocked my access and my two friends from school (Yes High School) on claims of "Multi Accounting Abuse" when we all used our own devices and emails.  He has indicated all our emails go to spam and I tried in good faith to resolve the issue by Private Message through the forum and he blocked me and my uncle.  Called us names and used vulgarities.  Soon the full story of truth as well as letters from the Govenment will be posted on all review & Crypto related forums.

As you have the same difficulty in understanding the English language as your *uncle* I'll repeat what I told you via email and you fail to understand again. There was no malfunction at our end and if anything went wrong it was on your device or browser. You and your  *uncle* both attempted to blackmail us by threating to report us to various authorities if we did not pay you money. When you learn to read you will actually see I wrote "I'm not even going to report you to the police for blackmail" which anyone would need to be incredibly thick to take as a threat.
I do ban thieves that run multiple accounts to cheat the faucet and referral program and I do call an idiot an idiot. I also filter imbeciles that constantly spam me threats so they don't clog up my inbox and get in the way me providing support to our customers.
