Ladies and Gentlemen, I present an experiment designed to test the effect of Butthurt on Marxists.

Before Butthurt is applied to Marxist:

iCEBREAKER's goofey, childish wannabe-hacker-kid-"you been pwned"-graduated-from-online-gaming lingo is absolutely textbook hilarious.

I'd ignore him but its too amusing.

After Butthurt is applied to Marxist:

  TROLL ALERT
IGNORE this user is recommended.

The hypothesis that Marxists are not strong on consistency, emotionally driven, and often hypocritical, is thus confirmed.   Cool

This gibberish is nonsensical and antiquated. Soon you'll be calling us pinko-commie-liberals and colored folk.

Your own illusions of grandeur aside... I was merely hoping to get these threads back on topic.

Personally I'm still entertained by your Archie Bunker rantings.

Thank you for the additional confirmation of my 'Marxists are inconsistent schizophrenic hypocrites' hypothesis.   Smiley

It's always good to follow up on an experiment to see if the longer term outcome emphasizes or contradicts the initial result.

Speaking of "nonsensical and antiquated" the early 70s called and they what their "Archie Bunker" quip back.

What's next?  Oh let me guess.  Something about the Paranoid Style in American Politics perhaps?  No, that's too high brow for OWS guttertrash useful idiot pinkos such as yourself.

More likely is the low-brow Hollywood Stalinist version of the same, probably in the form of some Doctor Strangelove reference to precious bodily fluids.

First you advise others to ignore me, then fail to follow through on your own advice.  Typical OWS authoritarian 'Do As I say, Not As I Do' BS.   Roll Eyes

My theory is that he sold all his shares during the plunge and is now pissed that it's back up to normal.

My theory is that I sold all my shares at tremendous profit during the plunge and am now pleased to be mostly in cash with some cheap (IE free) shares as a bonus.

Just like I said earlier.

....So..The plan was
1) incite panic, causing
2) the market price of a stock you held lots of to plummet, so as to
3)sell 55,000 shares during the plunge, averaging a sale price of .005 (280btc/55K), meaning you probably sold between .006 and .004, and then
4) sit on the money as the stock goes back up to around .006

Yeah Mr Smooth to us. Look from what he's admitted he's no Gordon Gecko that's for sure but he's trying god dam it. Ok so he failed to play this move as well as some of us Marxists but he sounds like he's just a kid so he has time to learn. Tip- sell *before* the market crashes and don't forget to buy back before the big bounce back up or you might  be left looking and feeling like a total dickhead.

Smooth?

The panic was coming, whether I got ahead of it or not.  The Lewis rumor and Cointerra juggernaut guaranteed it.

Keep trying, you almost have it.

3.5) Buy 7k cheap shares for around .0034.

5) Wait until the price wanders back down and meets my bids.

Smooth?  Perhaps.  Time will tell.  Happy to half in cash for now.

I was making the best of a bad situation.  I'm managing funds for a couple of friends, so I don't take these decisions lightly.

But if you enjoy tweaking your superiors as much as I enjoy needling my inferiors, by all means do so.

Do you want an autograph too?   Grin

The total value of invested and cash BTC in my portfolio has actually gone up.  So I am happy with my gutsy decision to be the first to panic and dash for the exits.   Smiley

The market had been begging me to take some (well actually a metric ass-ton) of profit, and circumstances conspired to make me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Given that I lost nothing in a risky, fluid situation, plus have a chance to regain the shares at a lower price, I conclude that my actions successfully navigated between Scylla and Charybdis.  Also, the entertainment value provided non-monetary rewards.   Grin

--------------------------------------------------------

Being a Marxist doesn't make you an environmentalist.  Communism is terrible for the environment.  See Chelyabinsk, Norilsk, Dzerzhinsk, Vozrozhdeniya Island, Chernobyl, and North Korea.

You don't even want to get into an environmental debate with me because I would bury you, comrade.  Your understanding of planetary geophysics, markets, and economics are among your chief weaknesses, and my key strengths.

Take your smug watermelon ManBearPig scam somewhere the sheeple are gullible enough to let you steal the moral high ground and give you money for carbon taxes.  I suggest public schools, Hollywood, and TV.   Wink

I understand, no issue at all; sometimes it's best to be conservative, especially in this sketchy market. It just reminds me though of when I was a kid and I'd fall off my bike around girls, but then try to pass it off me trying to do a trick which i landed by jumping off.

I guess my patronizing tone was too subtle.

I held all mine and added as much as I could afford at ~.0048.

The girl in the pic is most certainly going to be an environmentalist dumb ass.

Liquidating your position in  a temporary price crash and staying out does not make you money you total simpleton! You are now down compared to if you had done what the smart guys did which is hold and buy more near the bottom. As you don't get this I presume you are new to this complex world of numbers and multiplication.

So what that tells us is you didn't think price would recover from the little panic lol and you  are now DOWN in real terms to where you would be if you held, that doesn't make you JR you prick it makes you an amateur.

Come on then astonish up all with your in depth knowledge of what geo-politics? I am so sacred. What a fruitcake. Give me two minutes to refresh my memory on wikipedia first I think I may have forgotten something about the methodology of Marxism that calls for the environment to be destroyed. Oh if only the world had total Capitalism the environment would be safe. Utter bollocks from you again. Anyone who you don't agree with is put in a smear box. A very unintelligent approach. But it works for you which says it all. Imbecile.

Can this be over soon please?  If what icebreaker says is true, and there can be no guarantees, he's surely waking up this morning and wondering what an almighty cock-up he made to his fortunes and reputation over the last 24 hours or so.  While being tenatious he was never going to have the final word as he pitted himself against too great a number of people more than his match.  Here, the numbers game always wins.

While we wait for news on the progress of ActM it's natural that the forums will disintegrate into this behaviour during the lulls which can be humerous, yet get tiring.

Let's get back to the circle-jerking!   Cheesy
